Bob Ross: The Video Game
Posted on April 5, 2006
Happy little trees will soon be available to Nintendo and PC gamers. A note on the Bob Ross website says Bob Ross, Inc. has cut deal with AGFRAG Entertainment to develop a video game.
Bob Ross passed away in July, 1995. He was best known for the Joy of Painting series which taught viewers how to paint scenic landscapes. The Joy of Painting is seen on 300 public television stations in the U.S. and is also broadcast in many other countries.
Joseph Hatcher, Director of Development for AGFRAG, says, "I want the community to share with us their favorite Bob Ross shows, painting techniques, and what they'd like to see in the NDS and Revolution games. We want to keep the brush going."
Update: Sadly, it does not look like there will bea Bob Ross game after all. There will be no happy little trees on your Nintendo or PC screen. Gamespot reports that AGFRAG says it will no longer be developing the game.
