Brad Coleman Credits Video Games for Racing Success

Young racer Brad Coleman credits his success as a racer to video games. You can even call him video game boy if you want to.

Coleman told ESPN Auto, "If people call me video game boy, I'm fine with that because it's gotten me to where I am right now in my career. Video games are definitely an essential to success in racing, I think."

Coleman pretended to his homework but he was really playing games. He used multiple systems, including a Sega, Playstation, PC and Xbox. He says the NASCAR games helped him get familiar with the actual tracks.

Coleman says, "It all started out on the NASCAR video games. When I was a little kid, I knew all the NASCAR tracks like the back of my hand. That helps me now."

In addition to the NASCAR video games, Coleman also says his experience with go-kart racing was helpful. And in on a FAQ on his website Coleman also says Hot Wheels were helpful.
