Copies of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Atari Video Game Found Buried in Landfill

Documentary filmmakers have recovered copies of the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Atari 2600 video game from a landfill. The video game is considered one of the worst games ever made. There was a rumor that Atari had dumped unsold copies of the game in a landfill in New Mexico and the filmmakers were able to confirm the rumor.
The awful game is linked to Atari's financial woes during the early to mid 1980s. James Heller, a former Atari manager, was invited to the dig and reportedly was not surprised the game cartridges were found. Take a look:
