EA Sports UFC 2 Features Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor and Mike Tyson
Posted on January 21, 2016
In November 2015 EA Sports announced UFC Bantamweight fighter Ronda Rousey as the global cover athlete for EA Sports UFC 2. Ronda was undefeated until her recent shocking loss to Holly Holm.
Ronda says in a statement, "EA Sports is a cultural barometer to know what's going on in sports at the moment. As a gamer myself, it's pretty surreal to be on the cover of the game and to have a woman on the cover of a UFC game shows a lot of progress. I'm really happy to be involved with it."
The game will also feature boxer Mike Tyson. EA Sports released the following teaser of Tyson's UFC 2 character.
After announcing Ronda Rousey as the cover athlete the cover was updated last December to also feature Conor McGregor. McGregor won the Fight for the Cover battle.
UFC 2 will have a larger player character roster of over 250 fighters. It arrives in stores on March 16, 2016.
