Improved Resolution and Increased Power of New iPad Expected to Result in Better Games

The iPad and other tablets have been increasingly used to play games. The new iPad, which was announced today, featuring a much crisper screen, called the Retina display.
Apple said in its press release that the new iPad "has the highest resolution display ever seen on a mobile device with 3.1 million pixels, delivering razor sharp text and unbelievable detail in photos and videos."
The new screen, combined with a faster processor, should make the iPad even more appealing to gamers. IGN.com Executive Editor Scott Lowe says developers will have more power and features to improve iPad games. The more and more people that own the iPad also makes it more attractive to game developers because they can generate more sales. Take a look:
