Kirby Mass Attack Launches for Nintendo DS
Posted on September 19, 2011
Nintendo launched Kirby Mass Attack for the Nintendo DS today. The latest installment in the Kirby franchise allows players to control as many as 10 Kirbys at once. This is because the evil Necrodeus used his magic staff to split the heroic Kirby into 10 copies of himself.
Nintendo sent a Kirby Snack Attack truck to deliver frozen fruit treats in Houston this past weekend to promote the game. The fruit treat was used because Kirby eats fruit in the new game. Take a look:
In Kirby Mass Attack, players start with one Kirby and add more Kirbys to their crew by eating fruit. Kirbys are controlled using the stylus and the touchscreen. Players can then use the stylus to flick Kirbys to break through obstacles, tap on enemy attackers to swarm them with Kirbys or gather Kirbys together and draw a line to carefully maneuver them in a mass.
