NBA 2K16 Gets Three Cover Stars and Spike Lee Storyline

2K has announced three cover stars for NBA 2K16, the next edition of its NBA video game. The covers stars are Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis. The game will also include a MyCareer mode that is written and directed by Spike Lee.

2K says Spike Lee helped them create a feature that lets players "be the story of an NBA player with drama never before experienced in a sports game." Lee directed the captivating He Got Game film starring Denzel Washington.

Spike says in a statement, "Partnering with legendary 2K and Visual Concepts is one of the most unique challenges I've had in filmmaking, and allows me to push the boundaries of innovative storytelling. My hope is fans will feel even more connected to the world of basketball in NBA 2K16."

will be released on September 29, 2015 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Spike Lee also narrates a teaser for the upcoming game. Take a look:
