Odell Beckham Jr. Covers Madden NFL 16

Odell Beckham Jr. has won the vote to be the face of Madden NFL 16. He is a Pro Bowl wide receiver for the New York Giants. Beckham was named the cover star on SportsCenter.
Beckham scored 12 touchdowns and accumulated over 1,300 yards in his rookie season. He had seven consecutive games where he gained 100 yards or more. He was a 1st round pick in 2014 from Louisana State.
Electronic Arts (EA) has an an exclusive license with the NFL for Madden NFL. Some gamers argue this enables EA to produce a similar Madden product annually without having to make many significant improvements due to a lack of competition. The exclusivity likely does give EA some comfort but they still need something new each year to show fans and they have to adapt to new systems. The NFL could also drop the license if they felt EA was not improving the game enough.
Electronic Arts also released this first look trailer Madden NFL 16. It shows the players that were featured in the Cover Vote won by Beckham. The game will be released in stores on August 25th. Take a look:
