Play a Desperate Housewife on Wisteria Lane

Liquid Entertainment, known for its fantasy games, such as Dragonshard, is developing a game based on the popular Desperate Housewives television series. The game will be distributed by Buena Vista Games. Gamers get to play a new housewife that investigates scandals on Wisteria Lane. Actress Brenda Strong will be playing a role in the game. She is the voice of Mary Alice Young, the deceased Wisteria Lane housewife.

A BBC article says the buzz is that the game will resemble the Sims games. The BBC also reports difficulties in getting the popular cast to agree to in-game appearances.

It sounds almost as difficult as getting the Wisteria Lane girls together for a magazine cover photo shoot. The game is due out in late 2006.
