Teaser Trailer for New Spider-Man Video Game

Here is the teaser trailer for the new Spider-Man video game. The full trailer will premiere during the Spike TV VGAs on Spike TV, MTV2 and Spike.com on Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. Marvel says the game was created as an epilogue story occurring after the events in the film.

Marvel says the game feature free-roaming web slinging. The navigation and combat have been improved. The Spider-Man has to battle a variety of criminals in Manhattan.

The game is currently in development at the game studio Beenox. The narrative is being written Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey (episodes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and Battlestar Galactica). It continues young Peter Parker's adventures following the events of the new film.

Marvel says, "With a story that takes players through many areas all over--and under--Manhattan, fans will feel what it's truly like to be a super hero, as they experience the cinematic adrenaline rush of web-swinging through the city and fighting crime using Spider-Man's spectacular acrobatic moves and attacks."
